We collect information from you when you place an order.
When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number or credit card information.
What do we use your information for?
Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:
- To process transactions
- Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested.
- To administer a contest, promotion, survey or other site feature
How do we protect your information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order
We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to?keep the information confidential.
After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Smart Shelters Inc. is not liable or responsible for damages that may occur during the installation of the storm shelter(s) that you purchased. Damages to driveways, shrubbery, landscaping, sprinkler systems, underground utilities, pipes, sewer pipes or cables, or any under-the-slab items that may occur that are foreseeable or unforeseeable. By signing the contract/agreement you agree that you have carefully read the contract/agreement and accept all terms and conditions within it.
Smart Shelters Inc. is not responsible for delays resulting from worker strikes, accidents, or forces of nature such as weather. All changes, alterations, or revisions, must be made in writing. Any increase in costs or expenses will be added to the total amount due on contract. Our workers are covered by workers compensation and liability insurance.
Deposits: Deposits ONLY become non-refundable after the agreement has been signed. Meaning if you place your deposit at our online shopping cart but have yet to sign the agreement that contains the terms and conditions with your residence information, you would be eligible for a 100% refund. Once you sign the agreement you would no longer be eligible for a refund of your deposit.
A) Deposits: Are non-refundable after the agreement has been signed. Deposits are 100% refundable if the agreement has not been signed.
B) Hydraulic Jacks: They are available for an additional $150.00 and must be paid for at the time of placing the deposit. If they are not purchased at the time the agreement is signed they can be purchased any time before the installation of the shelter with 7 days advanced notice. This gives us time to build and install the jack plate. Once the shelter is installed and the jack is found to be fully operational a refund cannot be issued. However, we will replace the jack if it is found to be inoperable within the first year of installation.
C) Winch: They are available for an additional $50.00 and must be paid for at the time of placing the deposit. If they are not purchased at the time the agreement is signed they can be purchased any time before the installation of the shelter with 7 days advanced notice. This gives us plenty of time to build and install the winch anchor points. Once the shelter is installed and the winch is found to be fully operational a refund cannot be issued. However, we will replace the winch if it is found to be inoperable within the first year of installation.
D) Magnetic Covers: Are available for an additional $110-$140.00 depending on the size needed. The covers must be paid for at the time of placing the deposit. They can be purchased anytime thereafter. If the cover is delivered at the time of installation there will be no additional charges. If the cover must be shipped to a residence or business then shipping & handling fees will be applicable. If the cover is found to be defective at the time of delivery a replacement cover will be offered. Once the cover is found to be acceptable no refund will be issued.
Travel: There will be a trip charge of $3.50 per mile if you reside outside a 30 mile radius of our business location. There is no charge for the first 30 miles. We are located at 4000 S. Prospect Ave, OKC, OK 73129.
Encountering Rock: If we encounter rock, 2nd slab, or piers while excavating soil to install your storm shelter there will be an $85 per hour fee starting after the first hour. There is no fee for the first hour.
Discounts: Only one discount may be applied to toward the purchase of any storm shelter. Discount offers may not be combined. Max savings for 1 storm shelter is $300.00.
